The Holy Spirit
You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes down on you then you will be my witnesses, yes even to the ends of the earth. (Acts. 1:8)
The power of the Holy Spirit is quite simply the love of God. We ask His assistance to inspire us, be our advocate, counsellor and comforter. We pray that He will strengthen us inwardly and that we will continue to surrender our lives to Him. We want to see others experience this love which is beyond our greatest imaginings. With our permission He can change us, set us free and put our feet on the path to living a new life. We want to become a new creation, free of condemnation and to experience joy in abundance. This invitation is for everyone. No one is outside the Love of the Holy Spirit.

Our Lady Queen of Peace
Our Lady, Mother of Jesus is the Mother of this House. It was at her direction that the Centre was purchased and the community was called together. We consecrate our lives and the Centre to her daily. Mary said yes to the Father to be Mother of Our Saviour. She knows what it is to live in poverty, to be a refugee, to watch her Son die as she stood under his cross. She always points us to Him and tells us “Do whatever he tells you”. Her life was one of deep humility, trust and love. She invites us to come as we are and pour out our troubles and she too will intercede for us to receive the fullness of Peace. Our Lady Queen of Peace pray for us.

St Jude Thaddeus
Our Lord Jesus called St. Jude to walk with him on the road of his three years of public ministry. He was witness to Jesus healing people, setting them free. He too got caught up in the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus. He is usually depicted with a picture of Jesus on his chest to signify his call as an Apostle, a close companion of Our Lord. Over his head is a flame to signify his presence in the Upper Room at Pentecost. This gave him the boldness to go out and preach the Gospel in Armenia. The club in his hand signifies that he was martyred in 65AD. by being beaten to death. His bones were brought to Rome and were placed under the Altar of St. Joseph with the remains of the Apostle Simon the Zealot in the left transcript of St. Peter’s Basilica. He became patron of desperate cases and lost causes. He intercedes for us and knows our suffering. A first class relic of St. Jude is present at the Centre.
St. Jude Thaddeus pray for us.
