Psalm71:1

In you, O Lord, I take refuge;

Let me never be put to shame.

In your justice rescue me, and deliver me;

Incline your ear to me and save me.

All of us carry inner sufferings. Physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs are troubling us. Some of us feel alone, isolated, maybe we feel we can’t discuss what burdens us with anyone.

Here at St. Jude’s we pray the Rosary at midday each day for the needs of all who ask our prayers. We also light a candle before the relic of St. Jude for your intentions.

Please feel free to contact us in confidence and your need will be included in our prayers. Don’t worry if you haven’t got the right words as St. Paul reminds us in the letter to the Romans:

“The Spirit too helps us in our weakness, for we do not know how to pray as we ought; but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in speech. He who searches hearts knows what the Spirit means, for the Spirit intercedes for the saints as God himself wills.” (Romans 8: 26-27)

Be my rock of refuge, a stronghold to give me safety. (Psalm 71:3)
